The Admissions Exercise for International Students (AEIS) Preparatory Programme is a preparatory course designed specifically for international students who wish to join the Singapore mainstream government secondary schools. The course follows the syllabi of the mainstream Secondary Education Programme of the Singapore Ministry of Education (MOE) for English and Mathematics. It is professionally taught by well-qualified and experienced teachers to help students increase their chances of successful entrance into a Singapore mainstream secondary school. Students who successfully passed the centralized AEIS test will be assigned to their respective secondary school by MOE based on the student’s test results and other considerations.
The AEIS examination is conducted in every September or October each year; the SAEIS examination is conducted in every February or March each year.
The examination and allocation of school are conducted and administered by the Ministry of Education of Singapore. Students’ examination scores are not announced and students cannot select the schools to enter.
EASB will provide high quality preparatory programmes to increase the chances of success of the students but could not guarantee successful admission into a Singapore govenmenthigh school.
