Course Application
Each application received is considered on its own merits, taking into account educational, professional and personal experience. All applicants for admission to a course offered by EASB must be at least 17 years of age at the time of application (except for English and Foundation programs, where minimum is 15 years of age.)
Any false statement or inaccuracies made in a student's application for entry to EASB may result in that student being required to leave the school. Each application for admission will go through 7 stages, which includes a two-week waiting period of approval from Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA). The time taken depends on the cooperation of the student in providing the full documents and payment.
- To apply for your program of interest, please mail the following to us at 98 Henderson Road, Singapore 159543, attention to Registrar Office or fax to us at (65) 6276 5469.
- Complete the application form . This is available under 'Application Forms' section on the right hand column.
- Pay the application/enrollment fee. (S$315.00 inclusive of prevailing goods and services tax). Payment can be made via cash, cheque or telegraphic transfer. Cheque to be made payable to 'EASB Institute of Management'. For telegraphic transfer, to be credited into DBS account at 048-900262-0.
- Furnish us with copy of your highest certificate and transcript. If the original is not in English, translated copy will be required.
- Submit a copy of your identity proof. E.g. passport particular page or identity card.
- Upon receipt of your application, you will receive a Letter of Offer from EASB to confirm your place within 48 hours if your application is approved.
- You will need to sign and return the acceptance form, escrow form and student contract, along with the other documents required by Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) for your student pass application. For more information on documents required by ICA , please refer to the 'Student Pass Application' section.
- Full payment of fees is to be made to EASB and/or escrow account after student pass approval.

Student Pass Application
For international students who have received an Offer from EASB Institute of Management for the program applied, the next step is to apply to Immigrations and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) for a student pass to study in Singapore .
Students are expected to complete the acceptance form, standard student contract and escrow form and submit them along with the following documents:

Upon receipt of the full documents, EASB will proceed to submit your application for a student pass to ICA .
As soon as the school receives the outcome of your application from ICA , we will inform you accordingly.
Full payment is to be made before the school can issue the relevant documents for your collection of student pass. For applicants from visa required countries, full payment is to be made before we can collect the entry visa to be sent to you to enter Singapore .

CaseTrust for Education
The CaseTrust for Education scheme has been customized specifically by CASE for the education industry in Singapore . The scheme will enhance the confidence of international students and their parents in the quality of education in Singapore .The regulatory framework focuses on building trustworthiness, professionalism, as well as business and academic excellence. It has two tiers - first, an essential or mandatory tier, which requires Private Schools to ensure high quality student welfare practices and standards and gives Private Schools the right to enroll international students. Second, a voluntary tier, tied to privileges, is focused on enhancing business and academic excellence. CaseTrust for Education is part of the essential tier under the regulatory framework.
To Whom Does It Apply?
From 1 September 2005, all PEOs that want to enroll international students will need to have CaseTrust for Education status.
Benefits of CaseTrust
A PEO that achieves CaseTrust for Education is certified as an organization that possesses the foundation for good quality student welfare /protection practices and standards. The PEO will have the following mechanisms in place:

- Well-refined student redress practices and systems
- Disclosure of the PEOs commitment of quality
- Well-trained personnel
What is the CaseTrust Student Protection Scheme (SPS) and how can it protect Students?
The SPS serves to protect the students' free in the event a PEO in unable to continue operations due to insolvency, and/or regulatory closure. Furthermore, the SPS protects the students if PEO fails to pay penalties or return fees to the students arising from judgments made against it by the Singapore courts.
Confidentiality of Student's Personal Records
EASB is committed to maintaining the confidentiality of the Student's personal information and undertakes not to divulge any of the Student's personal information to any third party* without the prior consent of the Student.
* Exceptions Apply:
- During Emergency whereby the safety and life of the student maybe compromised
- As required by Courts or Law agencies to do so
^Top Student Protection Scheme
EASB Institute of Management confirms and undertakes to the student that it has in place a Student Protection Scheme (SPS) as stipulated by the Consumers Association of Singapore (CASE) by way of a Student Tuition Fee Account (Escrow) pursuant to the terms and conditions of the CASE-PEO Agreement dated 24th December 2004 made between CASE and EASB Institute of Management.
Tuition fees paid by the students to the school will have to be left in the custody of a third party, in this case the CASE-endorsed banks participating in the Student Tuition Fee Account (Escrow) scheme. When specified conditions for its release have been met, the banks will disburse the tuition fees on a regular basis to the school.
In line with CaseTrust requirements, all fees charged by EASB are break down clearly into the following categories:

- Escrow fees
- Orientation fees (only applicable for those who apply for this service)
- Course fees
- Examination fees

Singapore Quality Class
The Singapore Quality Class (SQC) for Private Education Organizations (PEO), SQC-PEO is a scheme administered by SPRING Singapore to recognize PEO that have attained a commendable level of performance in their journey to business excellence and to assist them to reach world-class standards of business excellence based on the Singapore Quality Award (SQA) framework and requirements in the private education sector.
As one of the institutions who received this SQC-PEO award, students of EASB enjoys the following 'green lane' benefits:
- Reduced processing time from 4 weeks to 2 weeks.
- Student's pass valid for full duration of student's study.
- Waiver of security deposit (all levels).
- For PRC students (all levels): waiver of interview at Singapore 's Beijing Embassy and direct submission of applications to Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA).
- Granting of 1-month Social Visit Pass , upon completion of studies, for foreign students to wind down their activities in Singapore and make arrangements to leave

I. Refund Policy
For Cause
All application, enrollment, sponsorship and escrow bank charges paid to EASB are non-refundable . 100% refund of tuition fees and the examination/assessment fees are refundable within fourteen (14) days under any of the following conditions:
- Student pass application is rejected by immigration;
- EASB fails, for any reasons, to start the course on the commencement date;
- EASB fails, for any reasons, to complete the course by the completion date except those that are caused by the students themselves, such as, deferment, re-sit, re-unit, etc;
- EASB terminates the course for any reason prior to the completion of the course;
- EASB is in material breach of its obligations under this Agreement.
Without Cause
If students withdraw before the start of class and for any reason other than those set out above (for cause), the following refund percentages apply:-
- 70% refund of all fees, excluding application, enrollment, sponsorship and escrow bank charges when students withdraw 60 days or more before commencement date;
- 30% refund of all fees, excluding application, enrollment, sponsorship and escrow bank charges when students withdraw between 30 to 60 days before the commencement date;
- 0% refund of all fees when students withdraw 30 days or less before commencement date; or on commencement date or after commencement date.
II. Transfer Policy
Students are only granted permission to transfer to another school under the following conditions:
- If they attained a minimum of 90% attendance rate. This is to satisfy ICA requirement; and
- If they have paid all outstanding fees and do not have any arrears in their payment.
PROCEDURES:
The following procedures are strictly to be followed in order to initiate a transfer:-
- Student to approach the Front Office to complete the Post-Enrolment Withdrawal Form and to submit his/her student pass and transfer form to the Student Service Executive;
- The school will check on the student's attendance records and ensure that there are no outstanding fees owing by the student;
- The Student Service Executive will arrange an appointment for the student to meet the Academic HOD for counseling session;
- In the meanwhile, the School will contact the student's parent/s to inform and seek their formal consent to the transfer;
- Parent's formal letter of consent to transfer and to absolve EASB's responsibilities for any disruption to the child's study in Singapore is required;
- Upon confirmation by the parent to the transfer the school will bring the student together with the completed transfer form to ICA to cancel the student pass.
- EASB will not be responsible for the failure to renew their student pass or disruption to their studies.
III. Withdrawal Policy (Post-Enrollment)
PROCEDURES:
Students who wish to withdraw from EASB voluntarily should adhere to the following procedures:-
- Student to approach the Front Office to complete the Post-Enrolment Withdrawal Form and to submit his/her student pass to the Student Service Executive;
- The school will check on the student's attendance records and ensure that there are no outstanding fees owing by the student;
- The Student Service Executive will arrange an appointment for the student to meet the Academic HOD for counseling session;
- In the meanwhile, the School will contact the student's parent/s to inform and seek their formal consent to the withdrawal;
- Parent's formal letter of consent to the withdrawal and to absolve EASB's responsibilities for any disruption to the child's study in Singapore is required;
- Upon confirmation by the parent to the withdrawal, the school will bring the student to ICA to cancel the student pass.
EASB will not be responsible any disruption to their studies.

Orientation Services
The Orientation Service is available to assist you to settle down quickly for your studies in EASB.
For a minimal fee, our orientation service covers the following:

* Although we do not provide accommodation, we do have appointed hostels to provide accommodation for our international students.

- The rooms are comfortable, practical and newly-furnished.
- The twin-sharing rooms are very popular. Rental is priced at S$350 per month for a student, subject to a minimum 3-month stay.
- There's also a one-time S$50 administration/registration charge and a S$200 (refundable) deposit to be paid when checking in. This rate is exclusive to EASB students and it is twelve and a half percent off the rate applied to students from other educational institutions.
- EASB students enjoy free Internet services, which cost other students S$30 per month.
- EASB students also enjoy free transport to and fro from the Hostel to EASB Henderson Campus, which would cost other students S$21 per month. The service is, however, not available for students residing in Pearl 's Hill Hostel.
- 24-hour round-the-clock CCTV and security (warden) service.
- Air-conditioned rooms.
- Water, electricity, gas.
- Free daily laundry service (weekdays only).
- Weekly housekeeping of rooms.
- Free use of pantry and kitchen, equipped with fridges and microwave oven, air-conditioned lounge and TV and study room, basketball/badminton court and football field.

The above 3 hostels are managed by Vita Holdings. All students are advised to read and understand the key terms and conditions of the rental contract before signing it. EASB will not be responsible for or be a party to any disputes that may arise between the student/s and Vita Holdings Ltd.
