The Portfolio. Here you assemble evidences of past professional experiences and achievements that represent prior learning equivalent to learning at Master’s or Doctoral levels. The successful completions of this portfolio gain one credit. Successful applicant can also gain up to 8 credits under RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning)
The Learning Plan. Here you identify potential learning experiences which can be undertaken as projects carried out over time. Each learning plan will be assessed on the basis of its rationale, analytical and learning capabilities. It will become the basis for subsequent successful completion of projects that demonstrate Master’s or Doctoral level professionalism.
Work-based Projects. Each such assignment involves the execution of a real-world project and analyzing the learning that has taken place as a result. It is expected that the documented results of these projects would be used to improve some aspects of the workplace. Learning in the workplace can come from such activities as:
involvement in strategic and commercial project developments, systems and management change
involvement in complementary activities such as: in-company, manufacturer’s equipment or software courses; a research methods course; attendance at professional conferences; taking on a new job role at work; preparation of an article for publication in a professional or academic journal.
Summary of Learning. The most profound learning of all will be evident in the final report which is intended to pull together all the learning that has taken place. This comprehensive report will demonstrate both deep learning and the ability to build conceptual frameworks that may apply to many other work situations. |
