Objective

This is a 2-day workshop that will use a wide range of practical, enjoyable, useful approaches to bring out the best in you. So you'll find your workshop highly interactive, supportive and fun. You will quickly build your confidence as you experiment and learn

 

Participants will learn how to apply key communications skills at work and in their personal lives. They will develop and refine assertiveness skills, including how to ask, how to say “No,” and how to craft assertive messages. Participants will learn how to recognise and deal with the three main types of difficult people. They will also learn how to make small talk and network. Finally, participants will learn a variety of techniques to persuade others in written proposals, formal presentations, and face-to-face conversations.
 

This programme provides an informal platform that enables participants to discover different listening preferences and four traits of human behavior in order to better understand others and manage effectively.

Trainer Profile

Leonard Yang holds a Masters in Business Administration from Nanyang Technological University’s Business School.  He obtained his first degree in finance with second class upper honours also from Nanyang Business School.  He has 15 years of extensive working experience in public policy, general management, business development, event management, project management, marketing communications, financial analysis and strategy planning with the public, education and consulting sectors with small and medium-sized enterprises and foreign and home-grown MNCs. 

 

His consulting work has involved him with a wide range of disciplines from food and beverage chains to business start ups, education, government bodies, professional services, and manufacturers. His background and experience in communication, teambuilding and service quality training, allows him to be a dynamic and empathetic trainer operating across a wide range of cultures, both national and corporate, and designation and gender.

 

 

 

Leonard believes passionately that training of this nature is not only to impart the necessary skills but to empower the participants in growing their own individual talents and strengths to realize and maximize their individual potential.

2. Cancellation received less then 10 working days prior to the workshop will carry a 30% administration fee.
3. Confirmation will be sent out via email 2 weeks prior to the commencement date.
