Introduction:
Supervisors are the linking pins in the organization pyramid, connecting management with operators on the ground level. Supervisors lay a solid foundation for the pyramid to stand firm without which the whole organization will collapse. The job of a supervisor is challenging – it is sandwiched between management and operators. Acquiring the relevant supervisory skills prepares supervisors for empowering roles instead of daily fire-fighting. Empowered supervisors work proactively, not reactively.
