Introduction: The Preparatory Course for Airline Transport Pilot's Theory is beneficial for an individual who aspires to be an Airline Pilot, a Flight Dispatcher, a Flight Operations Assistant or an Air Traffic Controller. Program Objective: The ensemble of Preparatory Course for Airline Transport Pilot's Theory course subjects, which covers the essential subject matters that an airline pilot must be familiar with, is intended to give the potential course candidate an insight of the pilot navigational techniques, flight instruments, radio and radar aids as well as an interpretation of aviation weather-forecasts. The knowledge that can be gained from this group of subjects is useful not only to a pilot but also to a flight dispatcher, an operations assistant and air traffic controller as well.
Benefits in taking up the ATP Theory:
The ATP Theory is tailored to equip an individual who aspire to be an airline pilot with the necessary aviation knowledge that will give him or her an edge in a pilot's job interview with local or foreign airlines. A pass in the ATPL Theory examinations is a prerequisite, in many countries, for the issue of a commercial pilot's license.
